Qualification and Experience:
Essential Qualification:
(i) Graduate in Commerce from recognized University in India.
(ii) Should have completed Tally Accounting package course.
Essential Experience:
(i) 5 years of experience after graduation in managing the accounts of large organization through tally accounting package including finalization of accounts by drawing Trial Balance, preparing statements of Balance Sheet, Income Expenditure/Profit & Loss Accounts etc. independently.
Desirable:
(i) Should complete Chartered Accountant (Inter) Course.
Job responsibilities:
To play an active role in work program related to the project & finalization of accounts by drawing Trial Balance, preparing statements of Balance Sheet, Income Expenditure/Profit & Loss Accounts etc. independently.
Total Emoluments (Rs): RS. 25,000/- pm (Consolidated)
Registration will start from 09:30 a.m to 10.30 a.m on 28.03.2011. Candidates reporting after registration time will NOT be allowed to attend interview. Interview will start from 10:00 am onwards.
Consolidated Emoluments : `. 25,000/- pm (Inc. of all)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on date of interview, age relaxation to the employees of GOI and SC /ST/OBC as per GOI Norms.
Reservation: As per GOI norms. However, being a project mode position for a short period, if such candidates are not available, the same will be treated as unreserved and will be filled by the deserving candidate.
Tenure: The Post is purely on temporary basis. The assignment is initially for a period of one year, which may be curtailed/extended depending on performance of candidate and requirement.

2) Director NCAOR has the right to relax the eligibility criteria of the candidates of exceptional track record and experience matching to the requirement of the project and also to cancel the recruitment process at any stage, without assigning any reason thereof.
3) The person engaged will not be treated on par with regular employees of NCAOR and shall have no right to claim implicit or explicit for their absorption or regularization in NCAOR at any time.
4) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

About NCAOR
The National Centre for Antarctic and Ocean Research (NCAOR) as an Indian research and development institution, and an autonomous Institution of the Department of Ocean Development (DOD), Government of India. Situated at Vasco, Goa, it is responsible for administering the Indian Antarctic Program and maintains the Indian government's Antarctic research station, Maitri. NCAOR was established on 25 May 1998, with Dr. P C Pandey as its founding director; while the 2nd and present director is Rasik Ravindra. At present NCAOR is an agency working under Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India since 2006, by the notification President of India.
As well as serving as the Indian government's nodal organization for co-ordinating Antarctic and Ocean studies, NCAOR also offers doctoral research opportunities for doctoral research in conjunction with University of Goa and the Mangalore University. In pursuit of this goal, NCAOR has established a number of scientific firsts within the nation.[vague] The agency is home to a special low-temperature laboratory complex for the storage of ice core samples, not only from Antarctica but also from the Himalayan Mountains.
