Recruitment on contract

IWAI, Patna invites application for the Post of Dredge Control Operator (3 nos.) & 1st class Engine Driver (3 nos.) in the stretch Rajmahal – Varanasi of River Ganga for operating cutter suction dredger on contract basis initially for a period of 6 months, which is extendable further as per requirement and need basis. Last date for submission of application is 15.03.2011. Salary will be consolidated and negotiable.

Minimum Educational Qualification for DCO:-

i) Matriculation with minimum ten years experience as Tube Operation on Dredgers.

Or

Driver 1st Class with 5 years experience in the Grade.

ii) Knowledge of swimming. Desirable: Experience in running and operation of Cutter Suction Dredger.

Minimum Qualification for Engine Driver 1st Class:-

i) Certificate of competency of Driver 1st Class.

ii) Knowledge of Swimming.
