We invite applications from Indian nationals for faculty positions at the levels of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor. The University intends to fill up around 24 faculty positions through this advertisement in the above areas, namely, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, English, Tamil, Language Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, Sociology, Environmental Studies, Mathematics.

Submission of Application

Interested candidates may apply in the prescribed application form, which may be downloaded from the website of the University, along with the applicable fee. Incomplete applications and applications without the prescribed fee will be rejected. The completed application should reach Registrar, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thanjavur Road, Thiruvarur – 610 001 (T.N.) India, on or before the prescribed last dates for the present cycle of recruitment through speed post/registered post only.

Only the duly filled-in and signed applications in the prescribed proforma (available on the above mentioned website) alongwith original Demand Draft towards application fee and good photostat copies of certificates etc., shall be accepted. E-mail applications and applications sent in any other mode will be rejected.

Candidates (Indian nationals only) working/residing abroad

Candidates (Indian nationals only) working/residing abroad may apply in advance through Emails/E-mail Attachments/Scanned copies or any other mode in the prescribed application format without paying the application fee in the first instance; however, they will have to fill up the regular application form with ink signed copy and pay the prescribed fee which will be accepted upto 3 weeks from the last date of submission of application.

The last date for receipt of filled in applications by the University for the present cycle of Faculty Recruitment on Regular Basis : 30th April, 2011
