Applications are invited in prescribed format from the Indian citizens and the candidates of other categories recognized by Govt. of India for filling up of following 29 vacant posts (existing 5 and anticipated 24) of Civil Judges (Entry Level) under Chhattisgarh Lower Judicial Service (Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006.

1) Civil Judges (Entry Level)

Class-Class II Gazetted

Pay Scale : 27700-770-33090-920-44450-1080-44770. In addition to this D.A. and other allowances shall be payable as per the rate admissible from time to time.

Essential Qualification-Bachelor degree of Law from a recognized University. Degree must be obtained till the last date of receipt of application in the Registry i.e. 8th April 2011.

Admit-card : The Registry will send through Under Certificate of Posting the admit-cards to all the applicants whose duly filled in application forms reach the Registry Office by the last date within time. Duplicate admit card will not be issued by the Registry. If a candidate does not receive admit card issued by the Registry 7 days prior to the date of the examination, he/she can download the admit card from our website.

Instruction/ Information for filling the application form. Application form for the Civil Judge (Entry Level) Preliminary Examination 2011 is available on our website i.e. www.cghighcourt.nic.in.

(a) The applications duly filled and signed along with Identity-Sheet & four identical and recent passport size photographs with name and address of the applicant on the back of the photographs affixing one photograph on application form, one photograph on Identity- Sheet and two photographs to be attached with the application form and two self addressed envelopes (11 x 5 cm) stamped with postal stamps of Rs. 5/- addressed to the Registrar General, High Court of Chhattisgarh, at Bodri, Bilaspur (C.G.) Pin - 495220, must reach the Registry of this Court on or before 8th April 2011 till 5:00 P.M. The words “APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT IN CHHATTISGARH LOWER JUDICIAL SERVICE” should be super-scribed on the top of the envelope. The application form must be submitted in the appended format and must be computer/typewritten in A4 size paper.

(b) Last date for submission of duly filled & signed application is 8th April 2011 till 5:00 P.M. It is the responsibility of the applicant that his/her application must reach the Registry office by 5:00 p.m. on the last date. The applications can also be submitted by dropping it in the "Box" kept therefor in the Registry office during the office hours i.e. 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on every working day till the last date. The applications received in the Registry office by post by 5:00 p.m. on the last date shall only be entertained. Registry will not be responsible for the postal delay.
