Duration : 4 years (8 Semesters)
Eligibility:
A candidate must have:
Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard / Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto securing atleast 50% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.
2) BSc (Hons.) Nursing * (This programme is only for female candidates)
Duration : 4 years
Eligibility:
A candidate must have:
Passed Senior Secondary (12th Standard/ Intermediate) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing at least 45% marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.
Ability to communicate in English and Urdu/Hindi.
Sound health.

About Jamia Hamdard
The history of Jamia Hamdard begins with the establishment of a small Unani clinic in the year 1906 by Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed, one of the well-known practitioners of Unani System of Medicine of his time. Hakeem Hafiz Abdul Majeed had a vision of making the practice of Unani Medicine into a scientific discipline so that Unani medicines could be dispensed in a more efficacious manner to patients. He gave the name "Hamdard" to his venture which means "sympathy for all and sharing of pain". His illustrious son, Hakeem Abdul Hameed, carried forward the philosophy and objectives of Hamdard in independent India.
