Box 21, Near Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala, District Kangra – 176215, HP and Temporary Academic Block, PO Shahpur – 176206, District Kangra (HP) on a payment of Rs.100/- (By Post Rs. 150/=, through DD in favour of Finance Officer, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, payable at Dharamshala, District Kangra) w.e.f. 11.04.2011
The Candidate can submit his/her application online (All necessary instructions for online application are available on University website www.cuhimachal.ac.in
In case of hard copy, the application form completed in all respects and accompanied by application fee as prescribed in the Prospectus must reach the office of the Dean-cum-Special Officer, Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Post Box 21, Dharamshala, Kangra - 176215, Himachal Pradesh Latest by 30th April, 2011 in case of Post Graduate Programmes and 21st October, 2011 in case of Research Degree Programmes (MPhil/ PhD).

About Central University of Himachal Pradesh
The Central University of Himachal Pradesh has two campuses located in Dharamsala and Dera Gopipur, Himachal Pradesh, India. The university was founded in 2009 as a result of the government's policy to establish Central Universities in each of the states that do not already have a central university.
Manmohan Singh, in his address to the nation on 15 August 2007, announced the establishment of a Central University in each of the states that did not already have a central university. Subsequently, the Planning Commission provided for the establishment of 16 new Central Universities according to the Central Universities Act 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) of the Indian Parliament. The act received presidential assent on 20 March 2009 and provided for the establishment of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, amongst others.
