Post Code-1: Network Administrator [JMG Scale – I]
Qualification:
First class / equivalent grade in BE / B.Tech (Telecommunications / Electronics) or equivalent with CCNA Certification.
Experience:
Experience in configuring network devices and implementing network solutions, security protocols, interfaces etc., should have sound knowledge of LAN/WAN and virtual private network, switches, routers etc. Work experience in Bank / Financial Institutions shall be preferred.
Job Profile:
Maintaining network and network equipments; network monitoring, and trouble shooting, adding network equipments to network, liaison with telecom service provider; ensuring maximum uptime of network, knowledge of HP OPEN VIEW.
Post Code-02: Database Administrator [MMG Scale – II]
Qualification:
First class / equivalent grade in BE / B.Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics) or MCA or equivalent with RDBMS certification.
Experience:
3 years of experience in the relevant field is essential. Candidates having experience in Banks / Financial Institutions in the relative area will be preferred.
Job Profile:
Database administration preferably in Oracle, Maintaining the database; Report generation; Rectification of problems in database; Trouble Shooting; Purging; Archiving; Back-up; Re-organisation of Database; Performance tuning; Defining Oracle Parameters etc.
Post Code-03: Systems Administrator [MMG Scale – II]
Qualification:
First class / equivalent grade in BE / B.Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics) or MCA or equivalent.
Experience:
3 years of experience in the relevant field is essential. Candidates having experience in Banks/Financial Institutions in the relative area will be preferred.
Job Profile:
Maintenance, monitoring and management of software and hardware etc. Applying patch, drive a project assigned. Be a Project Manager for Core Banking Sollutions / Network etc.
Note:
All the qualifications mentioned should be from a recognized University / Institution.
For posts, where experience is essential / desirable, it should be full time in the relevant field of the post applied for and will only be counted from the date of acquiring the prescribed qualification.

HINDI KNOWLEDGE: The candidates shall acquire working knowledge of Hindi, if not possessed already, before completion of probationary period.

Canara Bank is a state-owned financial services company in India. It was established in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country. As on 2009 November, the bank had a network of 3057 branches, spread across India. The bank also has offices abroad in London, Hong Kong, Moscow, Shanghai, Doha, and Dubai.
The late Shri. Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, a philanthropist, established the Canara Bank Hindu Permanent Fund in Mangalore, India, on 1 July 1906. The bank changed its name to Canara Bank Limited in 1910 when it incorporated.
In 1958, the Reserve Bank of India ordered Canara Bank to acquire G. Raghumathmul Bank, in Hyderabad. This bank had been established in 1870, and had converted to a limited company in 1925. At the time of the acquisition G. Raghumathmul Bank had five branches.
