JEST - 2011 Joint Entrance Screening Test 2011
Results will be announced on 16th March, 2011 at 6.00 PM.
5875 candidates in Physics and 1745 candidates in Computer Science wrote the Jest 2011 examination.
Participating institutes will shortlist candidates depending on their cutoff marks and applicants will directly receive the information about their interview/selection from the respective institute.We wish all candidates the best of luck.
Important Dates
JEST - 2011 written test was held on Sunday, February 20, 2011, from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
Hall ticket downloading was available on this site from 3rd to 11th February, 2011. .
Photo and signature preview was available from January 26 until February 11, 2011.
ON-LINE submission of applications was open from December 10, 2010 until January 3, 2011.
Forms were sent in response to requests for printed application forms reaching IMSc by December 20, 2010.
Candidates seeking admission for a Ph. D. Programme in Physics or Theoretical Computer Science in the Participating Institutes may appear for JEST-2011 at one of the Exam Centers.
Participating Institutes have their own eligibility criteria, as described below. Students who are expected to complete their final examinations by August 2011 are also eligible to apply.
