Walk-in-Interview to be held on 26h March, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the National Institute of Medical Statistics, ICMR, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi

Eligible candidates are invited to attend the Walk-in-Interview on 26h March, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. onwards at NIMS, ICMR for the following posts in the project “Clinical Trials Registry – India”.The appointment shall be made on Ad-hoc basis for six months each time depending on the performance of the candidate,the project requirement and the project duration and shall be co-terminus with the project.The candidates engaged in the project will have no claim for regular appointment in the NIMS, or the ICMR or any other institute of the ICMR. It may be noted that no other service benefit shall be admissible to the project employees. TA/DA shall not be payable to the candidates for attending the interview.The candidates are required to bring two copies of their bio-data with copy of supporting documents attached regarding their qualifications and experience.The original certificate may be produced at the time of interview.

PROJECT : Clinical Trials Registry – India

1) Data Entry Operator –Grade-B (One)

Qualifications (Essential) : Graduation + one year Computer

Certificate/Diploma

Desirable : One year data entry experience.

Emoluments : Rs. 9315/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Age : 28 years. Relaxation shall be as per Govt. of India rules

2) Data Entry Operator –Grade-A (One)

Qualifications (Essential) : 10+2(12th Pass) with Computer Knowledge

Desirable : One year data entry experience.

Emoluments : Rs. 8,280/- p.m. (Consolidated)

Age : 28 years. Relaxation shall be as per Govt. of India rules

About ICMR

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world.

In 1911, the Government of India set up the Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA) with the specific objective of sponsoring and coordinating medical research in the country. After independence, several important changes were made in the organisation and the activities of the IRFA. It was redesignated the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in 1949, with considerably expanded scope of functions. The ICMR is funded by the Government of India through the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
