Application Fee:
Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only), which is non-refundable (exempted in the case of SC/ST/PWD candidates).
General Conditions:

Only Indian Nationals need apply. Mere submission of application will not entail right for claiming Appointment.

HAL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and / or the selection process thereunder.

HAL reserves the right to raise or lower the Specifications, depending upon the response to the advertised posts.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.

Age and experience are to be counted as on 01-03-2011.

Out of the total post qualification experience mentioned against each position, candidates are required to possess a minimum of 3 years experience in the next below Grade / Level (applicable for PSUs/Govt) or in other equivalent posts, as on 01-03-2011.

In case of candidates possessing PG Degree in Engineering (Full Time) in the relevant discipline, the period of experience will be reduced by the prescribed period of the Post Graduate Engineering Course, subject to maximum of 2 (two) years. This relaxation is applicable to technical posts at Sl. Nos. 1,2,3,4,5,6,8 & 12 only.

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories are required to submit copies of Caste Certificates/Disability Certificate in the prescribed format at the time of Interview.

Applicants serving in Govt. / Public Sector Enterprises should apply through proper channel. In case the candidates are not able to apply through proper channel, they are required to produce NOC (No Objection Certificate) at the time of Interview.

These vacancies are identified to be filled up by external candidates only, through Direct Recruitment. Therefore, applications of Internal candidates, if any, will not be considered against any of the posts.

Candidates are allowed to apply against only one of the advertised posts for which they are best suited and only once. Candidates applying for more than one post, the applications will be considered for the lower post. Candidates should clearly mention the branch / specialization in Engineering in Sl.No 16 of the Application blank. In case the branch / specialization of Engineering is not mentioned, the application is liable for rejection. The Application fee paid will not be refunded. No communication will be sent to the candidates.

Appointment of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Reports from the HAL Hospital as per the standards prescribed by HAL as well as verification of Caste and Character & Antecedents from the concerned Authorities, as per the rules of the Company.

Health: Applicants should be of sound health and should meet the medical standards prescribed by the Company. Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to receipt of satisfactory medical report from the Company’s Doctor. In case of PWD candidates the percentage of disability should be 40% or more which will be certified by the special medical board constituted by the appropriate Government for this purpose.

About Hindustan Aeronautics Limited
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) came into existence on 1st October 1964.  The Company was formed by the merger of Hindustan Aircraft Limited with Aeronautics India Limited and Aircraft Manufacturing Depot, Kanpur.

The Company traces its roots to the pioneering efforts of an industrialist with extraordinary vision, the late Seth Walchand Hirachand, who set up Hindustan Aircraft Limited at Bangalore in association with the erstwhile princely State of Mysore in December 1940. The Government of India became a shareholder in March 1941 and took over the Management in 1942.

Today, HAL has 19 Production Units and 10 Research and Design Centres in 8 locations in India. The Company has an impressive product track record - 15 types of aircrafts/Helicopters manufactured with in-house R & D and 14 types produced under license.
