2010 Guangzhou Asian Games

The 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, also known as 16th Asian Games, will be held from 12-27 November 2010 in Guangzhou, China. 42 sports are contested which makes it the largest ever Asian Games. The design of its mascot is based on a fairy tale around 5 immortals who had taken 5 goats to Guangzhou with each taking an ear of corn in the mouth. After that, the immortals urged for end of famine and then flew to sky as the 5 goats converted into fossils.

Organizers will modernize 32 existing gymnasiums and stadiums and build 11 new stadiums. Here is the list of some of the stadiums:
