IMA Orissa Admission BSc MA MSc Mathematics and Computing Computational Finance

Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) {Mathematics and Computing}

Master of Science (MSc) {Computational Finance}

Eligibility:
Candidate must have Passed/Appeared Higher Secondary Examination or Equivalent from any discipline with Mathematics as a subject.

Objective: This is a 3 year full time rigorous course aimed at those who wish to pursue a career in cutting-edge research in mathematical sciences and related fields. A scholarship of Rs 2500/- per month would be available to some meritorious student.
How To Apply:
Application fee for BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Computing: Rs 100/- (there is no application fee for ST/SC student). Postal charges Rs 50/- (only for postal request of application form).

All payments should be in shape of consolidated demand draft in favour of Director Institute of Mathematics and Applications payable at Bhubaneswar.

How to get application form: Application form and prospectus can be
(i)                Collected from Institute's counter or
(ii)              Downloaded from www.iomaorissa.org OR
(iii)            Collected through post by sending the application fee in shape of Demand Draft inclusive of postal charges along with a request letter.

How to send completed application form:
(i)                For online and downloaded applications, instructions are given in the website. Or
(ii)              All other form of applications can be submitted by post or in person.

About Institute of Mathematics and Applications (IMA)
The Institute of Mathematics and Applications, (IMA) Bhubaneswar is an academic institution that was established by the government of Orissa in 1999. Its dual purposes are to conduct advanced research in pure and applied mathematics, and to provide postgraduate education leading to Masters and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics, computation and computational finance. The institute also runs training programs in schools aimed at increasing mathematics awareness and leading to competitions such as the Mathematics Olympiads.
